My day trip to Paris. Here are some pix of my day in Paris. It was absolutely incredible. I will go back.
Paris Train Station Arc Du Triumph (spell?) Palais Du Concorde (spell?) The Opera House The Eiffel Tower The Louvre Can you guess why I took a picture of this?? My very favorite. Good times....good times. M MyeternalgrattitudetoPhil&Val.Herman said "We want sweaty truckers at the truck stop! Great pics Mr. Miguel.
I remember my camera running out of battery power just as I was about to take a shot standing dead center at the base of the Eiffel Tower looking straight up. The Louvre was one of the places I regret not having seen when I was there. Guess that means i'll just have to go back. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. I think it's totally awesome you did that, Miguel!

Thanks. It was unfortunate that some pix were taken from either a bus or a boat. They both had dirty windows. Some of my other pictures are spotty....Calgon take me away. People were saying that it was because it was too cold. (England had it's coldest climate on the week I was there.) I decided to buy a disposable camera just in case that day. My camera worked well on that day. Two days before I had gone to Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath and my camera was freaking out. When I got to the Roman Bathouse in Bath my camera wouldn't work. It was really beautiful too. I ended up just buying the souvenier book. M MyeternalgrattitudetoPhil&Val.Herman said "We want sweaty truckers at the truck stop! Have a wonderful time!!! Definately do the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. I fell in love with the Louvre. I was literally touched almost to tears but I held back. The paintings were incredible but the Greek/Roman sculptures were incredible. M MyeternalgrattitudetoPhil&Val.Herman said "We want sweaty truckers at the truck stop! The Venus de Milo is breathtaking. What am I saying, the whole place is breathtaking. I'm glad you went even if only for one day. Isn't the Eurostar a wonderful train? One day?
Man, you HAVE to go back.....you missed Pere Lachaise (Jim Morrison is buried there and many, many famous composers and authors), the Latin Quarter, Montmartre and the flea markets, Sacre Coeur, Musee D'Orsay....the list goes on ad infinitum. And that doesn't count just hanging around Pigalle one day just to absorb the culture. "Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive."

I love Paris - been there twice now and I never get tired of it; even of going to the same places. I want to go back alone one time (I will do during my gap year) so that I can meet some of you parisien orgers and enjoy paris for myself. | |
