i actually liked my pad thai better than the takeout i get around chicago! it was fresher and it felt more substantial cuz i dumped more veggies and tofu in it, and i added a bunch of my favorite flavorings and spices. i had no idea pad thai was so easy to make!

I have not make that in a while. I guess I will have to make my own Thai food. We do not have any good Thai restaurants close by. The next time I am in Tampa, I will be eating me some Thai food though.
Your Pad Thai sounds yummy- I like mine HOT & spicy!!
Red curry is my ultimate favorite though everyone's tastes different.
Now I am really hungry for Thai!!
Just another reason I am crushing on you- (oops- that was supposed to be my secret... giggle)

giggle awww shucks.

the hardest part of doing homemade pad thai is getting the sauce. if ya got that, then ya just smoosh everything together in a wok and it's done. i may never order pad thai again!

He's right, it's very simple but excellent : rice, slices of omelette and fresh spinash. I don't know what is the receipe for the korean marinade, but once you taste it, you can't forget it.

Receipe : sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic, sugar.

I went to my mom's uncle's 80th birthday party and had lamb, beef, salmon, salad, potatoes, vegetables, cake, muffins and pie. I pretty much ended up looking like JDinteractive's avatar afterwards.

Salmon! drool Have you ever had it cooked on the grill? It's so delicious!

Of course, many times. It is indeed delicious. nod

I once grilled a skewer with swordfish, tuna, salmon and shark. It was one of the best meals I've ever had. drool

And I shall probably be having some Hillside Quickies fare while I watch the Oscars with my mostly-gay sorta-ex-husband (so much more fun than watching them with the very-straight working-on-Sunday boyfriend lol ). They do vegan soul food, so I will mostly likely be enjoying some BBQ seitan, mac-and-yease, hush puppies, and greens. They call that combo "Eatin' Big At Mama's House". mr.green

lol

ps, when Denny, Shawna and I went to Dallas to see Rio, we went to this country bar and hung out there for a long time. The bartender LOVED us and since we were from MN he decided to refer to the 4 of us as "Shawna Faith and the hot dishes"

lol

So, now that I know wtf a "hot dish" is, I read that and picture Shawna standing at some hick bar juggling a stack of Pyrex. mr.green
