I think all diet drinks are gross , they all have that distinct gross aftertaste

i used to think so too, but regular soda was getting too sweet for me and someone introduced me to diet dr. pepper, which tastes a LOT like normal...and i got hooked...and lost a LOT of weight. and so now i'm a nutrasweet junkie. i still like my sugar, but with drinks, i prefer diet sweetner primarily because it's not so sickly sweet, but also because it DOES make a difference on the ol' waistline. nod

OK , i'll try diet DR Pepper , i had before , thought i didnt like it maybe i'll reconsider
I hardly drink regular DR Pepper anymore 'cause i need to loose a lot of weight confused
I can't imagine you overweight , i saw some pics of you in which you look quite skinny smile

I'm a big fan of making mixed drinks with Dr.Pepper...its a shame bars don't have Pepper on Tap!!!

My sister introduced me to it...mixing Dr.Pepper with Captain Morgan, she initaially called it "Dr.Morgan", but now calls it a "Smooth Sailing".

Jack Daniels and Dr Pepper is pretty tasty, but rather use Cherry Coke with JD...otherwise its always boring old Coke.

If we're dealing with U.S. sodas sweetened with corn syrup, then I'd rank them as follows:

1) Dr Pepper
2) Pepsi
3) Coke

However, I have access to Coke and Pepsi imported from Mexico, where they still use cane sugar. (They also still use the old-fashioned glass refillable bottles, although they wind up in my recycling bin because I have nowhere to return them.) I very much prefer these to their U.S. versions. I rank the Mexican colas as follows:

1) Coke
2) Pepsi

(Note the switch!)

Dr Pepper sweetened with cane sugar does exist -- it's made only by a small bottling plant in Dublin, Texas. I have not tried it yet, although it can be purchased online.

As things stand right now, my first-choice soda is Mexican Coca-Cola. That may change once I obtain some Dublin Dr Pepper. Although I kind of hope not... the shipping costs would really add up. (By contrast, I can buy a 12 ounce/355 mL bottle of Mexican Coke or Pepsi for $1.59 at a store in my neighborhood.)
Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position.

Mexican Coke is my favorite, but Cherry Coke is a close second, and much more widely available. nod

As for Dr. Pepper, when I'm getting fountain soda, I'll often mix about 2/3 Coke with 1/3 Dr. Pepper. Sometiems with a splash of Sprite or 7-up. nuts
