I almost kicked the bucket too! I was not given last rites, however, but I do give them a lot now.

I don't have a lot of untold shocking stories. Ok, this might be a bit surprising. Last summer I had a one-way plane ticket purchased to Hawaii. I had a backpack with bare essentials packed, and the number of a (homeless) guy I had met there who I thought could probably help me if I needed it, and I was just going to go and figure things out when I got there. . . sleep on the beach and eat a lot of rice. I had kept it a secret from everybody but one friend who I thought would support me. . . wasn't going to tell people until I was there and they couldn't talk me out of it. Buuuttt, I decided to call Martin from a hotel at the airport and tell him where I was that night, so he wouldn't worry. He talked me out of going. I still wonder what adventures I missed out on, even though I'm ultimately glad I stayed and faced the things I was trying to run away from. Same here. I was an emergency C-Section. My heart rate was going down. I had a heart murmur. "When words fail, music speaks..." --- Shakespeare
