I keep thinking about this and I seriously am stumped.

I've told this story before, but it's been a long time so...

I was arrested when I was 18 for a TRIPPLE hit and run. I fell asleep driving on campus and plowed through 3 cars. Scary/sad/funny thing is, I didn't even know I had hit 3 cars till I was released and wa read the charges. I thought I'd only hit one!

To make it all more glamorous, I was crazy enough back then to think I could just drive to the other side of campus and got to class. So, I was actually pulled out of class by an officer, escorted to the squad, frisked and placed in the squad in front of our student center. It was morning so anyone not in class was in said student center for breakfast, watching from the window.

SUPER COOL.

I did not get my driver's license until I was 19 - all the other kids had there's at 15-16 where I lived in a big city. dunno if it's actually "shocking" but i thought i'd share

i've had 5 years (and thousands of dollars) worth of dental work done when i was younger:

5 adult teeth extracted
4 years of retainers and braces

i currently have a permanent metal wire glued behind my front bottom teeth


i grew up being scared of dentists, orthodentists and oral surgeons
and i still am

i actually get physically ill when i know i have to go to see any of them...


it sucks.

I have a horrible FEAR of the dentist.
I get physically and emotionally ill just thinking about going. The last time I went the dentist kept asking me if I was alright. I was gripping the handle of the chair and my feet were moving non-stop. He said I turned as white as a ghost and looked like I was going to pass out. I had lots of fillings as a kid but they always gave me laughing gas so I am not sure where the fear comes from. I hate having the needle in my mouth - that is a big part of it. Last time he had to give me 3 of them to numb me where I was having the work done.
Oh- I think I am going to go throw up!!!

It is so weird because I do not get fraked out about any other procedure. I have had surgeries and did not get as freaked as I do with the dentist. I was 32 when I had all 4 wisdome teeth pulled. I told him to put me out and wake me up when it was done. That went well!

i've been awake for ALL my procedures, even the extraction


now my wisdom teeth are all in, i'm not having any problems with them
but they're urging me to get them removed, and i'm scared shitless because i've never been put under before...
