I'm never very good at sleeping, sometimes I sleep lots, sometimes I cant sleep for weeks mad

Exhaustion sounds good, or else a hot bath (did that already), camomile tea, hot milk, sleeping pills! read a book!

I dunno, I guess Id sleep better if these things actually worked better! Sleep well Emm cloud9

oh and someone posted recently that you shouldnt go on the net at nigt if you cant sleep, because the light from the screen confuses your brain and makes you think its daytime nod So Im outta here! biggrin

Exercise, meditation or yoga (I can't sleep when I'm stressed), get an eye pillow (filled with buckwheat & scented with lavender. It really helps me). Some of these things might sound goofy, but if they calm you down you're going to sleep better.

Melatonin helps a lot of people.

Usually I get tired after reading a few pages of a book unless it's really really good and can't stop reading.

Just tonight I saw a commercial for some kind of relaxation body wash. It's in a purple bottle (as if that wasn't enough reason to go out and buy it!) and at the end of the commercial, they showed a whole line of stuff, including body lotion. I am guessing it has probably got lavender in it.

Lavender is one of those scents that is supposed to be calming. If you can't get the product I mentioned above, maybe you could get some lavender candles or scented oils to burn.

Otherwise, try reading a book about an hour before your bedtime. That way, as you read in bed, you are getting your physical body relaxed. Also, try to avoid eating anything before bed and stay away from caffeinated drinks.

Oh, you might also go back and look for some sleep-inducing threads here on the Org. There might be a few...

I'm lucky if I can get in an uninterrupted 4 hour stretch confused if they all wake up once in a night: nightmares to "my pyjama buttons are undone! bawl" to "I can't find my pillow bawl oh, there it is, sorry mummy redface" then I am lucky to get in a 2 hour stretch. Baby Max is the least worst waker upper of all of them.

Some of ya'll are nasty and need to be prayed for.
With that being said....
I really don't like to sleep anyway. I either can't or end up having these WILD assed nightmares/dreams. The other night I dreamt that I was chasing this white dog all around my apartment, then I finally got it out the back door, then I yelled out "IS THERE ANYBODY ELSE IN MY APARTMENT!?!" and 2 middle aged(hot)spanish men came out my closet with nothing but white towels on and holding blue and red glow in the dark necklaces like you get at Hershey Park. It's shit like that that makes me want to stay awake. I'm on my way to bed now. I've been un 36 hours. But I'm gonna start a little thread first. Something to tie ya'll over until 2morrow when i'm back on here causing trouble like I always do. see now i'm just rambling.
