I know most of you are wondering what has been up with the old Captain the last few days. Well Thursday I adopted a houseful of abandoned puppies, naming them all after members of my beloved Org. On Friday, I donated my car to charity and bought a more environmentally conscious 10 speed. Then this weekend I hung out with my fellow Rainbow Warriors to discuss our upcoming trip to Nova Scotia to save some type of bird from greedy businessmen. Man they were cool too! The showed me a lot of things, such as how deodorant and other hygiene products are overrated. We also discussed the virtues of granola and took in a Widespread Panic concert that lasted 7 hours. I had so much fun.

Not at all am I sorry I made this change in lifestyle.

Not in the slightest do I miss talking about whores and the virtues of my huge penis.

Not in any way do I wish that you, my fellow Orgers, would start some sort of on-line petition that would force me to go back to the way I was. Because that would just be so horrible. But I'm just saying that if you did, I would have to abide. I'm just saying.

Damn Org site crashes...probably stopped someone from doing the on-line petition right away. The site's back up now so, you know, if someone wanted to bring back the old Captain, you know...

In the meantime, I am just going to be listening to Jewel over here.

Anyone ever notice there are really only about one or two speeds on a 10 speed. That damn hand control thing is just for show. I miss my sweet badass ride...gas guzzling sports car that it was.

But, no I'm happy. Really.

Oh, by the way, the on-line petition can be completely tongue in cheek and insincere and I would still take it as a sign that the masses want the old Captain back.

Because of the huge outpouring of love and support for the old Captain, as evidenced by the huge response, the granola-loving tree hugger is being put to bed like the cheap attention-getting gimmick that he was.

Why did they change the Coke formula in the 80's? Why did they turn Mike Seaver into a goody two-shoes in the last season of "Growing Pains" or Fonzie into a tweed wearing geek? Because people are idiots.
