The Org Guide to Success

Hey every1. After the success of the Org Guide to Parenting thread, I thought I would make this a series. In this thread, tell us what you think one needs to do or not do in order to be a success. Success is a broad concept that means different things to different people, so tell us what u did or are doing to be a success in your life. Share your experiences, wisdom and anecdotes.

Have fun.

I'll get things started.

One of the most important things that I think one needs to be successful is a GOOD ATTITUDE. Without it, you're doomed before you even take off. No one wants to network with you, no one wants to give you the time of day if you have a bad attitude. You just stand in you rown way to great oppurtunities when you think negatively about yourself and others. You've got to have a YES I CAN, YES I WILL attitude to even get your foot in the door. The glass should always be half full, not half empty. This is crucial.

which reminds me, accepting and encouraging the org's sizable gay population worship of you as a heterosexual does wonders.

pity the fool who shuns their adoration.

and of course, if you not able to manage any of the more respectable ways of achieving org success, you can simply post a pic of yourself on a tractor.

that'll get even the most raging idiot a small bus ride into the org pantheon.

why, HELLO 2the9s!!

i like the new unicorn sticker on your protective helmet!

oh!

if there is a thread into which you can not click, wait a couple days, let the frusteration kill you as you spend hours trying to click the unclikable title, and then start a thread asking how the hell to get into, and immediatly crash into the thread, demanding citizenship.

(little too inside of a joke for newbies)

worked for me.
