Last night, I got to share an amazing night with some of the people I love most on the planet Earth. You guys keep me hapy and laughing and smiling the whole time we were in line for the Tamar show last night. Looking at all of you brought tears of joy to my eyes. When I got sick last night, I didn't say anything but I truly thought I was having a heart attack. I have never felt that way or been so scared in my entire life. I kept trying to convince myself to just breathe through the pain in my chest. I knew my life was over. I was afraid but I thought: What a way to go: Surrounded by love and at a concert where I was in the front row with Prince right in front of me.

Luckily, it wasn't over. I just want to say thank you all so much for taking care of me last night. For the aspirin and the ginger ale and the backrubs and the fending people up off me....

For the love. You guys are my angels and I love you all very much.

Thank you for hanging in there and staying with us (and I mean "staying with us" in more ways than one - you had me scared). I wouldn't have missed it for the world, though I wish you would have felt better so you could have enjoyed the show even more than I know you did.

I was sooo happy to see Handclaps and CRUNKmistress , and it's a treat as always to have GangstaFam in town - I also had a blast hanging out with Eleven and the lovely miss N. with her badass-shoed self.

Here's to more shows with you guys this summer!

And Brownsugar, I'm going to invite you to my support group for Survivors Of Drunken Whale Tail.

That mess was TRAUMATIC.

i am so glad that you were able to make it through the show, because i was deathly worried that you weren't gonna be able to do it. you were having a really bad time for the first part of the show, and the drunk heffas behind us weren't making things any better (thank the lawd i didn't have to go upside some heads ).

And I just have to say what a pleasure it was to be in such good company. I was feeling pretty rough myself, not having slept the night before. But as soon as I met up with everyone, all my road weariness and stress left me. I'm glad we were able to hold it together and take care of you Ivy. And I'm glad I was finally able to hunt down some aspirin after asking about 10 staff and security folks. Let's do this again REAL soon, but under much better circumstances, okay?

Update:

I'm still not feeling well but I'm better than I was that night. I finally was abe to get in touch with my doctor and I have an appointment in the morning.

I'm glad you're getting better, and I hope that you're doctor can eliminate whatever it is you've been going through, so that hopefully it'll be a short-term problem. I love you and it scared the dickens out of me to see you so worried.
