My GOD... it is such an amazing story. i am so happy for the both of you. I hope Drew will continue his recovery, he is such a fighter (eventhough he wants to go home, which is think is so sweet). i applaud YOU for being the best husband in the world!

Stuart, I am overjoyed to hear that things are getting better for Drew. I mean this when I say this: when I think of a happy, sorted gay couple - you two are the first to spring to mind. You and Drew, Drew and you. I am just so happy that things are improving. You both need a huge Org hug!
Take care of yourselves and I hope Drew is able to come home soon. He is so very lucky to have someone who cares about him as much as you do. I think you're both amazing. Here's to many, many more years of happiness together.

From 12/1999- Drew's been carrying this around with him, I just found it in his bag. We were at a cooking game party. We divided into teams and competed for ingredients. Once the game was over, our teams cooked a Mexican dinner with the items we won. It was a lot of fun!
Teresa (girl with dark hair), her father is Mexican and she was on the other team. We were doing the desserts for our teams and I fried bananas (which were nasty). Teresa was all "I'm going to make special Mexican dessert tortillas and win!" Special all right! She took flour and water and a shit load of sugar and made mud cakes. As soon so they hit the hot oil, the sugar burned, the whole thing turned black in a split second and stuck to the pan! They were still raw in the middle! She served them with honey!

I was so glad to finally get to see the update. I too like a few others had you in my thoughts and I was just anxious to log on to see what the current status is. But when I couldn't log on - I was panicked! God is all powerful and has truly heard all the prayers that surrounded the two of you. May the Lord bless you and Drew. May he surround Drew with all the love that has been generated in his name.
