Aww, sorry to hear that. That was so messed up.
Sadly, that's the bad side of jobs. Working on your day off. Hopefully you'll be able to get a vacation soon, after all that hard work.

Hello most bosses know you don't take your sweet time to start interviewing people when you are 3 people short in your department....hello start the interviewing process after you loose the first one....so as to not make the rest of your staff miserable....and I have to be there at 9am tomorrow

My department has only a few people, yet one is going on maternity leave, and people are rotating through working weekends which means they have to have their days off during the week, and we're split up between four different locations now. I'm working alone more than half the time. Heaven forbid I ask for any vacation right now.

I want to switch hours so I work days instead of evenings, but they won't let me because they refuse to hire anyone else.
