Gay marriage question for a friend on here!!

Sad most of you don't like him on here cause he speaks his mind but anyway, if you marry a non US citizen would they become a Us citizen and can they if its a gay couple!!

Im sorry,forgot to answer the question.Im not 100% sure but I think he will become a citizen but you have to be married in a state that recognizes the union.

So he can fly him to Boston get married and then divorce in about 3 months then. right!!

I think there's some document you have to file for 1st.

Do you know what document that is or where he can look it up. Time might be running out cause he could be facing deportation anytime he said!!

i don't know about the gay marriage thing, but i know that straight couples need to stay married for 2 years and provide proof of living together when the immigrant partner applies for permanent residency.

Nah, just read that document just now and that sounds too dangerous for him of leaving faster!!! Oh well!! Find another way, That way was last resort!!
