(and unfortunately for her, that will be about the time i start my time in menopause so, life around here should be REAL exciting )oh my, are we having a time tonight. now i know why God intended for there to be TWO parents. sometimes i think i can't do this anymore by myself. this only just started a few weeks ago. she was always such an easy girl! so laid back, obeyed me easily (well, for the most part), never threw fits, etc. i got through the "twos" and thought i'd survive this just fine. now, she throws fits and tantrums every night. EVERY NIGHT! the stupidest little thing will set her off. the other day when we got home from work/daycare i told her she'd have to carry her doll in herself (mommy is not a pack horse!) and she had a fit for over an hour!! screaming, crying, throwing herself on the floor! but she carried it in herself!

Ah well, I just heard about a two year old who did something similar to her parents here... a rather rude gesture she'd gotten from a movie she was too young to see (the Frenchies will know about "Brice de Nice" and "cassé!)... so maybe she's not starting so young as that.

quite a long time ago when my sister was around 2 (she is now 25!!!) Dad had asked her to do something (pick up her room or something...don't quite remember) and she said "no"...he said "what did you say!!??" she said (with ATTITUDE) "read my lips...NO" i was 11 at the time and i remember it like it was yesterday....same situation, Mom and Dad wanted to punish her for being saucy but at the same time we couldn't stop laughing!!! you're only as old as you feel..............so how old do i feel

Things will get better...I remember when my niece was that age...(I was her care giver while my sister was working) WOAH...but, she's 14 now and the sweetest thing.
