My grade school had one. I never had a problem with it back then. Now that I'm older, I'd probably be like

I havent been on one since I was kid and yes there was always someone who puked, or had to get off quick because they were going to be sick. Dont try getting off one of those things while its still turning, you could lose a limb!

fairground rides make me puke, i can only ever go on one.

Illustrator

I have a hairless spot on my arm which resulted from a skid-burn that I got while trying to jump off one of these as a kid.

I also have a puffy lump of scar tissue on my chin from falling off the iron monkey-bars & my jaw bouncing off three of the metal bars on the way down (12 stitches).

I suffered a slight concussion when I jumped off the swing at it's highest arc & landed on the concrete playground surface on my head.

I think my spine is still outta alighnment from my see-saw buddy suddenly jumping off her end.

Oh, & the burn-marks from going down the red-hot steel slide on a sunny day.

Ahh..mushy..the memories.

(This was back in the day when parents gave their children big heavy metal lawn darts to throw at each other.)

I never threw up either, but I fell off and suffered minor scrapes and dirty clothes.

Now, I wouldn't even get on one of those things...looking at one's enough to make me puke

BUT

When I was a kid we use to try to go so fast we could hang off the bars while we were spinning.
