This is Ok to be at Blockbuster but nc-17 films are not?

hell, i'd watch it WITH my kids...i think it's a hilarious movie, plus i think it's a good lesson in how language is used in different contexts, and how language is useless until we give it the power of those contexts.

but i'm kind of a liberal schmiberal 1st amendment queen that way. shrug

agreed. For me, it was a real insight into the art of comedy. the jazz analogy used in the movie is appropriate.

people with autism have abetter attention span than some of u

the Q has nothing to do with the excellence of Jason Alexander's outrageously concocked story...

How the fuck could u explain this to a child watching it with u? Be like the dad in "Happiness" ?

"dad do u want to..fuccck me?"
"no.. I just jerk off instead"

I don't really care if they carry it or not. It's not like the cover is obscene and its the parents job to monitor the kids viewing habits, not blockbusters. I bet that shit is banned at Wal-Mart tho. lol and it's lame that bb won't carry nc-17 movies...but we already knew that bb sucks, right?

exactly. i dont support them and their bullshit anyway, why should i care that they have their heads up their own asses too much to carry or not carry it?

i go to video stores that don't tell me what i can and can't watch ratings-wise.

it has less to do with explaining the specifics of what they're saying than showing how even the most vile language can be made harmless when you're using it in a context when the power is stripped away and made silly and ludicrous. i think it's a very important lesson in how we communicate. and it's damn funny. would i show it to a six year old? hell, no. but when a kid gets to an age where he or she is trying to shock with potty language, this would be a good lesson. "you think you're shocking? oh, my child, you don't KNOW shocking." lol
