remember the jamacian bobsledders? a jamacian bobsledder has won a medal at the olympics! 
 lascelles brown - jamacian and brand new canadian
mind you he did so under the canadian flag but it's kind of cool that the bobsled program made famous in "cool runnings" has actually reached the podium! lascelles was a memeber of the jamacian bobsled team for five years before coming to canada permenantly. he was unsure whether he would be able to compete for canada or not as his canadian citizenship was not finalized until a few weeks before the olympics. however he has been winning races with driver pierre lueders and today they won the silver medal! congratulations guys! That´s kool, congratulatiions...a good friend of mine is also Jamaican-Canadian but he was born there, in B.C.
