Its hard to talk about torture because I really think that people are capable of submitting others to kinds of torture that surpass the normal imagination. Only a certain kind of sickness can really go there...

From my experience, hopeless-ness is torture. Not having hope makes you emotionally dead. When you live like that, you may have your sight, but you cannot see. You are in such a depressed state its like you're in a prison that follows you around.
