There are just some vistas that I could not live without, looking over the sea or mountains for example. When I see these things I am happy to be alive, and gives me reason to stay alive.

I have never been lonely enough to consider it torture, I'm a loner by nature. For me it would be having to watch my niece get hurt, I'd take ANY pain and punishment as long as she's left alone. Just thinking about it makes me cringe.
