would beef stroganoff be nice served with creamy mashed potatoes? 
I would normally serve it with rice, my mum does it with elbow pasta. 
What have you had it with?

I use to serve it over egg noodle, but my husband hates them so now I serve it over rice...but I haven't made it in years because my kids hate it.
And to answer your question...very few things do not taste good over mashed taders.  I'm firmly planted in denial |

Back in my beef eating days, we used to have it on egg noodles or rice. I think it would be really good on mashed potatoes.
