Get you asses of the internet and feed and suport your starving and crying bratz! News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

Great advice! I think that it is really important not to physically discipline kids. Doing so teaches them that it is ok to physically attack people when they dont get their way. Parents have got to be patient, take the upperhand and reason with their kids from a very very young age.

im not going to argue the discipline factors here, lord knows over the years i've seen this get ugly around here
aside from that, my answers are... *PAY ATTENTION *LISTEN *LOVE *BE HONEST *BE OPEN *REMEMBER WHY YOU HAVE KIDS AND WHO'S CHOICE IT WAS. *TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME *ASK FOR HELP WHEN YOU NEED IT *ENJOY THE PARENTING JOB, ITS A FANTASTIC ONE TO HAVE *ENJOY EVERY MOMENT, THEY PASS SO QUICKLY..... *GET TO KNOW YOUR KIDS, THEY ARE GREAT PEOPLE *TIME, TIME, TIME... GIVE THEM ALL YOU CAN *LEARN TOGETHER *TRY NEW THINGS TOGETHER, ITS GREAT FOR THE BONDING *TRY TO REMAIN CALM *TEACH THEM ABOUT WHERE YOU CAME FROM, MISTAKES YOU MADE ALONG THE WAY, AND HOW THEY CAN MAYBE AVOID THOSE MISTAKES *LAUGH TOGETHER... HAVE FUN AND GIGGLE, ENJOY THEIR COMPANY. *GET TO KNOW THEIR FRIENDS ON A FIRST NAME BASIS... THIS HELPS FOR SO MANY REASONS *PROTECT THEM.. AFTER ALL, THATS YOUR JOB *GET TO KNOW THEM AS PEOPLE, THEY HAVE INDIVIDUAL IDEAS OF THEIR OWN THAT NEED TO BE RESPECTED *DONT BE AFRAID TO TELL THEM NO, SOMETIMES ITS FOR THEIR OWN GOOD. *LIVE FOR THE MOMENT, BUT KEEP THE FUTURE IN MIND... IF ITS OK TODAY, IT HAS TO BE OK FOR TOMORROW TOO, CHILDREN DONT UNDERSTAND OTHERWISE *BE SURE TO TEACH ACCEPTANCE AND LOVE FOR OTHERS DONT BREED HATE, THERE'S NO ROOM FOR THAT off the top of my head, thats what i try to keep in mind... its gonna be interesting to see the answers that come up in here org kids One of the best days of my life... http://prince.org/msg/100/291111

I haven't got children, only a niece.
I believe in showing her that people should treat one another with respect and that the choices we make have an impact on what happens to us and other people. I also want to present her with as many different experiences as possible so whenever I can I take her to new places and encourage her whenever she shows an interest in something. As an aunt I can do that kind of thing and it makes me happy.

*"Then spare the rod and spoil the child."
~Hudibras by Samuel Butler *(check the background of this quote which has nothing to do with what people think.) Luckily, i've inherited "The Look"... ...from my Dad as a substitute for "The Rod". Much more effective. Be their parent instead of trying to be their friend. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

~Hudibras by Samuel Butler *(check the background of this quote which has nothing to do with what people think.) actually, in the bible when it refers to "rod" it's not talking about a rod you spank/beat with. it's the shepherd's rod which is used to gently direct the sheep on the correct path.

the most important thing i think is to make sure your kids know to respect others and expect to be respected in return. it goes along way. it teaches them to treat others right and to know that they dont have to take shit off of nobody.
