10 reasons (no way all iclusive):

1. Demonstrated resilience.
2. Demonstrated ability to self-sacrifice beyond normal reasonings for her offsprings.
3. Natural ability to love beyond the physical and intellectual plane.
4. Ability to be true to their companion and stick side by side through thick and thin.
5. Most inclined to forgive, most inclined to tell you how they REALLY feel.
6. Demonstrated ability to lead from the front or side by side with her mate in causes that are not self-centered.
7. The faith and understanding to bring a black seed into this world despite our hardships knowing that true love of that offspring would be enough to fuel him/her along life's journey.
8. Moves with a rythm that harmonises mind, soul and body. Her vibration are most intune to the earth. God chose her to bring forth humanity.
9. Demonstrated ability to show compassion even though the other person looks visibly different.
10. Demonstrated ability to adapt to ensure the survival of her social group.


I'm sure a lot of us have met women like this. Some of us were not ready to receive them, some of us were willing to deceive them.
All in all we have to learn to cherish these virtues and share tehm with our women.

Too often we tell them what we don't want and not tell them what we DO want. Let us as black men seek to build instead of destroy.

Props to black women, for sure.

But, with the exception of numbers 8 and 10 (which -- sounded a bit like "survival of her race" to me ), that tribute could apply to any woman of any shade.

Erm. White, Latino, and Asian women have these traits too.
