I'll bake your gibblets you turkey!!!

It is Saturday. I am Baking a Turkey in white wine with Potatoes. My Mom, Brother and sister-in-law, along with my inlaws are comming to have dinner over my house. biggrin fun fun.

Anyway, I love Turkey dinners. I guess Thanksgiving was some of my favorte childhood experiences because I am obsessed with Turkey Dinners.

What do you think of the Turkey Dinner?

Do you Go Classic?
Modern?
Soul?

But why only on the "holidays" do you cook the turkey dinner? After all the Governmental Holidays are nothing but another day around the sun. Sometimes it's fun to make your own holidays up, and this gives you a reason to have the turkey dinner.

Isn't this the second turkey dinner for you in as many months? lol

I think I do such a big turkey dinner production at Thanksgiving that I'm pretty much good to go turkey-wise for the rest of the year

people don't eat very much turkey in this country
we used to get turkey chops regularly, and they're not too bad

well for some reason i just dont' have the energy to cook all of that stuff on regular days. i use my weekends to relax. if i feel like it i may do it one day out of the holidays

We have a simpler dinner version...(about once a month)...throughout the year with the roasted turkey stuffed with StoveTop stuffing-chicken flavored...(my favorite!), collard greens, baked mac & cheese, candied yams, jellied cranberry sauce, heat & server dinner rolls...

...that's an appetizer/entree/dessert plate right there...lol
