Spiders - yikes! eyepop

Or any insect/reptile, for that matter. How can people have these as pets??!

I've also probably got some deep-rooted phobia that I'm unaware of that's gonna come and bite me on the ass someday. lurking lol

heights, being single (I have nightmares about it) eek and this is weird, but I am scared of someone falling in love with me, because I so could not handle that (I am just flattering myself, quite delusional, but who says phobias are rational lol )

Maybe if your nightmare about being single turned into reality then your nightmare about having someone fall in love with you would seem like less of a nightmare? smile

I'm afraid of diseases and confined spaces. Those have pretty much always been my top two fears. In later years my fear of ending up alone for the rest of my life has sailed up as a major contender for the top spot though. neutral

I have a fairly serious fear of spiders and any insect/bug type thing with lots and lots of legs.
My next biggest fear (and it definitely comes in second, cause I really, really am afriad of creepy crawly bugs) is that I'll never truly be happy.

Bees - I'm deathly afraid of them, I've never been stung by one, but I'm still deathly afraid of them.

I've just remembered one - this is pathetic -

the DARK. eek

Where I grew up there's woodland opposite my house. I honestly can't ever remember being afraid of the dark until some kid, who lived a few doors up, told me that - at night - monsters came down from the woods and roamed the streets.

Obviously I know that's not true lol but even now I hate the dark - especially if I'm in someone else's house.

Rrrrrr, it gives me the shivers.

Megalophobia- fear of huge things. Seriously, big shit scares me. I was going up to New York with my family back in '96, and when I saw the statue of liberty I freaked the fuck OUT. I kept yelling at my mom to drive faster past it. Or really tall buildings. I went to New York in 2000 with my history class, and we were standing outside of it, and I was looking straight up and all I could think about was the building falling on me and I ran across the street into a shoe store. I'm also scared of big pee-pees shake

Agoraphobia- Seriously, I can't be in cornfields, or the ocean and I'd probably freak out in the Mall Of America too. Big huge spaces drive me fucking nuts. I'm more comfortable in small spaces.

Claustrophobic - I get nervous even having to crawl under my desk to plug wires into my computer. I also freak out if I have to sit in the back seat of a two door car, especially if my head is pressed agains the back window, and my knees are smashed up agains the seat.

My worst experience was at a Halloween haunted woods thing we went to. At one point we had to crawl through this maze of tunnels made out of haystacks. I got stuck several times, and couldn't move my arms or legs, and started flipping out.
