Hi, Natisse. smile rose

Glencoe, Illinois...A beautiful place where I've lived all my life (except for during my college years in Boston, Mass....)...

I googled the websites available and didn't find a lot of pictures to share the idyllic wonder here...(mostly real estate confused )...in one of the North Shore's beautiful suburbs of Chicago, Illinois...Chicagee. lol biggrin

...And we sit right on the shore of Lake Michigan.

But, if you watch, or have seen many of John Hughes' movies you will see Glencoe from shoots in and around our village... nod

~Let's see..."Risky Business", "Home Alone", "Weird Science", "Pretty In Pink", "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"...and, others...(and other's)...

mr.green You can see the entrance to my highschool; New Trier Township, in Winnetka, Illinois, (Go Trevians!) at the beginning of "Sixteen Candles". mr.green
