This is the first time since 1997 i will be single(somewhat not official) on this overrated day. I would fly Nikki23 here to be my wife but it won't happen. So for all those who don't hate me what can i do or single folks do on Valentines day!!

I'd actually forgotten it was today until I read this thread.

i buy my boys chocolate valentines and kiss their little faces but they don't care about the kisses they just want the chocolate!

In the past I've done things like send valentines to everyone I know like I did when I was a kid.
One year all my single girlfriends and I went out for a night on the town and had a blast together.
This year I plan to watch bad tv in bed. Cause that's what I feel like doing.

One year, I had the fantastic idea of asking two single friends (one male; one female) to go down-town with me, to celebrate Valentine's. We went to this cosy Italian restaurant in a basement and it was a fun night - like a plantonic menage-a-trois. We got a few stares and the waiter gave us all a red rose because he couldn't figure out whom was with who. lol

Naturally, I now have two fewer single friends since that night. They married last August and the baby's due this June.

Study Its just another day. Sure, its a nice excuse to go out for dinner or get presents when youre with somebody, but thats all it is - an excuse. Its not the be all and end all of coupledom. Valentines day really doesnt bother me

In the past when i had a girlfriend on Valentines day i would get a card so i would not have to hear any sighing or moping around. And sometimes there would be sacktime.

This Valentine's day i am thinking of going to the coffee shop. Buying one of the Valentine's day cupcakes they have for sale. Then go up to the Plain Jane and.....Shove it into her face in return for how i have been treated since after New Years.

Other than that i think i am gonna go to the movies.
