I received a deck a long time ago. One of my ex bosses gave them to me as a gift. She told me to wrap them up a pure silk handerchief and put them under my bed. She also told me that no one should touch them until I told them they could.

Mach. Have you heard of this little ritual?

M

yes ... no one should touch sacred items unless asked to and the silk is a shield of types

it is very common to wrap decks in silk...specially red or blue

the silk is an energetic filter... keeping your good vibes IN the deck and keeping negitive vibes out and away from your deck !!

it is also common to sage decks to make them vibrate better each reading or at least a few times a month

Hmmm...under your bed huh ... i'll ask round bout that

Okay I don't know why I wrote that. I meant under my pillow. I don't remember how long I was supposed to keep them there.

I like the Celtic Dragon, Celtic Shaman, Celtic Renewer, Chalice, Cosmic Tribe, Coleman Smith and Daughters of Moon. I'm sure if I scrolled through I would find more that I liked. Makes me wish I was an artist so I could create my own deck with my own interpretive skills nod

Cool Sammi, I bought my first deck a few weeks ago. "Robin Wood", I don't use it that much, but a few times I asked a question then asked the same question again and I pulled out the same card....I know I shuffled it well.
