Not too good at all. The company I'm going to work for this year won't let me go to the city where I want to be (Nagoya) because I don't speak Japanese, despite having declared several times that "ability to speak Japanese is NOT required".
Above all though, my mood has been affected by an e-mail I received from a very close friend who has had problems with her eyesight and felt lethargic; apparently she's been diagnosed with MS. She is one of the most unselfish, hard-working, kind-hearted people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing so it feels extremely unfair that she out of all people will have to face this truth. I've told her that we're going to fight this fucking disease with everything we've got and assured her that I will support her every step of the way, but knowing a bit about MS tells me that very challenging times lie ahead.  | |

i loved being pregnant, sharing my body with my babies was an absolute joy... what an incredible bonding experience. however, those last few weeks are total hell 
plus, the excitement of finally meeting your new bundle of joy is like the best Christmas you can ever remember as a kid, times a million...
