I should have asked the guy what he thought of Bill Murray's lastest movies, though. BTW, the two movies I saw at the show I saw in the same week. I saw the oscar nominated "Capote", with an amazing should win performance by Phillip Seymour Hoffman (same goes for Catherine Keener). And than I saw a movie that will surely be up next year....the arthouse favorite "Big Momma's House 2". Of course not as good as the first but some really big laughs (the Bo Derek scene had me laughing my ass off). Aw, man, Broken Flowers was #2 on my top ten list of all movies I watched last year (I watch a lot of movies), but I love everything by Jim Jarmusch. Capote was #10 on my list. I agree, Hoffman should win. The guy was probably a moron. I'll rent it soon (maybe when he isn't there).

I think it's funny that a clerk at a video store would splay his opinions all over customers' choices of videos.

I know....Not that this should make his opinion mean less (you know I'm not a homophobe) but the guy was kind of flaming! Maybe he didn't like the fact that it was about a guy seeking out his ex girlfriends (I'm kidding of course).

The acting was phenominal, the storyline was refreshing, and it deserves much more "hype" than Brokeback Mountain, in terms of tolerance. I was wondering about that one- I will check it out- Thanks! I was NOT impressed with BBM- They hyped it up way too much!

I've seen a lot of good movies so far this year as I've been prepping for Oscar. One I haven't seen mentioned yet on this thread that I rally enjoyed is Mrs. Henderson Presents.
It was funny and touching, has terrific acting and lush costumes. I really recommend it.

Yeah, Broken Flowers is a straight guy's film...but there is some "fluid sexuality" going on with one of the ex-girlfriends.

I've only seen three movies this year:
Walk The Line Capote Underworld: Evolution Of the three 'Capote' was the best. And for a 'bad' movie, 'Underworld' wasn't terrible.
