Theres this girl i have known for 5 years. We get on so well. And she drives me crazy. She just came back into my life having returned from working abroad. The last 2 weeks she's been putting out signals thats shes really interested in me.

So we go out for a meal last night. Had big fun. Then when it comes to asking if she wants to start dating she says no. Not interested. In love with someone else. But she wants to go out all the time with me coz we get on so well.

The mad thing is she has done this to me over and over again. And i keep falling for her flirtation.

Believe me, I know from experience (once had a "friend" chase me for 5 fucking years & never got the point)... she ain't interested, forget her. If she wanted you she'd make it clear or at least leave the door open for the possibility. She said no... FIVE years... believe her & move ON

She probably enjoys the affection and attention that she is getting from you and therefore maintains a slightly flirtatious style so that you'll keep hoping and wanting. She's made it very clear that she isn't interested in you as anything other than a friend though, so if friendship is acceptable to you then drop your thoughts about a relationship and be her friend. If not, then it's probably best if you just stop seeing her.

Show her YOU arent interested, and I bet ya, the moment you cool it down, she will come running..
