Perhaps the term "metrosexual" has become dated. However, I'm sorry... I'm not going to stop waxing my eyebrows and instead let a unibrow grow in. smile

just smooth the area with a matte finish instead of a gloss finish and i think you'll be just fine. giggle

1) Are you straight? If yes. go to the next question.

2) Do you dress gay or pamper yourself or are on the verge of being a fashion meister? Or in otherwords do folks mistake you for gay by the way you dress, do your hair take care of yourself.

If yes..you are metrosexual. It has nothing to do with sexuality and everything to do with how you take care of yourself and your surroundings.

I fucking hate ALL "metro"sexuals. By the way, that term should only be used to described someone who fucks trains, planes, or automobiles. Throwing off my fucking gaydar.

i always thought that a metrosexual was a man who took care of himself as opposed to these sorry excuses for men who walk around looking like they're homeless or something. i never got the appeal of a man who looks like he needs a good scrubbing.

This has basically been my position on the issue. nod

I've been with an actual queer guy, an avowed metrosexual whom you all know and love, and then lately I've ended up with manly-men. It's hard to get used to. I love my current manly-man, and I'm not asking him to change (in fact, one of the things that seems to come with his somewhat oldskool manly-man-ness is that he treats me like a princess. . . dude, DON'T CHANGE), but it would be fine with me if he woud decide all by himself to gay it up a bit. I kind of want to sic the Fab Five on him sometimes. lol

Nothing wrong with being clean and well groomed, but some guys get a little too carried away with it. I'm not a big fan of the big retro-70's-hair with way too much styling product in it, izod knit shirts in loud gay colors with the collars flipped up, pairing suit jackets with jeans, big gaudy belts, overplucked eyebrows, etc...

I wasn't sure how to describe it, I guess you could call them blazers. In practically every episode of Queer Eye, at least one outfit Carson puts together is this, if not more.

i love that look, but only if it looks as though they've been sleeping in the same outfit for a few days.

that sounds like a typical power-breakfast outfit for an exec in, say, Boulder Colorado... or, at least the ones i used to know. since when did this look become "metrosexual."

(giggling at word. giggle)
