What do you think of a Mardi gra Invasion theme late summer early fall in LA?

i've never been to mardi gras before

but that DOES sound like a good idea...seeing as i MIGHT be in cali around....august???

Keep it clean folks... I am looking at it from a colorful artistic display and the ability to decorate this place out to the max on a budget and create a fantabulous time!

As a sideline... we could hop over to Vegas for follow up.... 1 hour by flight 3 by car!

I think the last catalog I got from them had a bunch of masks/beads/Mardi Gras themed items (Just looked and there is a Mardi Gras link on the front page of the site )

I would love to go (of course) but I don't think Jas would appreciate being left home with a 5-6 month old

Seattle is July 28th - 30th so it would have to be a workable date that doesnt inclue this time period..... and isnt to close to it so as to make it impossible for many to get away..
