is it me or is this whole Infinite Crisis story kinda boring?




where's the juicy bits? the cliffhangers? the meat and potatoes of a good comic story of good versus evil?



there was this great build up to it and then it has sort of flat-lined on me.

i went cold turkey on comics a year or two ago...didn't they already do this in, like, 1985?

I just like the fact that they're makin Power Girl a full fledged character now. Before, she was Hellboy + titties.

I could see focusin on Barbara. Cyborg's had a few specials, if I remember correctly, but Kara's thing is different. Only her story explains the reason they call it Identity Crisis. She's been kicked around a lot and nobody wants to deal with her cause it's easier to ignore than understand her. I know I'm a (insert girly epithet of your choice) for this, but I got a lump in my throat when she explained the hole in her uniform. I'll never stare at her cleavage the same again.

With the exception of Batman I can't read any DC books...my eyes begin to burn in pain...

I follow the DC stuff mainly by reading Wizard, tho I sometimes pick up a trade if it looks good. The Elseworlds stories can be pretty good too.

i really just wanna sell my comic book collection, with the exception of my transmetropolitans and my shade the changing man comics. what do i do, just drop them off at a comics shop and take whatever they'll give me?

I still have thousands - I've even been bringing some across the Atlantic to the US over the last few years now that I live here. I tried selling groups of issues on eBay, which I think can work well if you're motivated. I didn't get any takers, though, and haven't done anything about it for a while.
