yeppers, i shall be doing a bit of artwork for the prince parties that happen there every month. how'd i get the bit? well, lemme tell ya'll:

last month when i went to first ave. for their party, as ms. paris (the dj who spins at the monthly parties--she's Cookie here on the org) was getting her turntables and stuff set up for the party i came up to her and asked if she would be interested in me doing the artwork for the parties. she was like, "sure! give me yer e-mail and i'll pass it along to marie (the woman who handles the ads now, i think)."

welp, i just got an e-mail from marie today, and she said she'd be okay with me doing art for 'em! she's gonna be e-mailing me the deadline for the artwork sometime tomorrow, but i come up with ideas very quickly (much like prince, i can come up with stuff at the drop of a hat) so i'll be able to have something made & scanned in no time. all's i gotta do is sketch out stuff, then put it to work. so yeah, i'm SUPER happy right now, it'll look good in my portfolio! and for you mpls kitties, you'll have some stuff to hang up in yer houses soon enough. thanx to ms. paris for allowing me to do the artwork for her parties, i absolutely appreciate it!!!




...and in other news, it looks like ben FINALLY got rid of the "sr. moderator" patch that had been sitting by my username. yaaaaay, folks can't mistake me for a mod no more!!!!
