anybody ever have something relatively good come out of a situation that pissed you off initially?

my 4-year old dumb dog decides to chew my phone charger cord into 35 pieces today (fortunately for her it wasn't plugged in or she would have gotten the shock of her life). i'm pissed because now i have to go to walmart and buy another one since my battery is now dead. i'm thinking i really don't feell like paying $20 for a damn charger, but i gotta have my cell phone (for family and work reasons). so i get to the store and they have a nice car charger for only $7.77..so i'm like "cool!" so i'm walking to pay for this charger and i see a twin-pack DVD of There's something about Mary and Shallow Hal, two of my favorite movies of all time, for only $10. throw in the pack of gum i bought too and i got a car charger, 2 dvd's and pack of gum for $18. i get back home and decide to let Sasha out of her kennel.
