I'm going to Guatemala !! I just made a mad decision.  
My little sister is staying for Guatemala for 6 months. As my father misses her that much, he decided to visit her for one week during Easter, while there are lot of festivities (Semana Santa) going on. As I have a two day holiday, he asked me to come with them (them = father, his girlfriend and her daughter who is two years younger than me). I was  at first, because the idea is rather decadent. I've never been out of Europe, and to pay 850 euros (I'm only earning 900 euros every month ) for the flight?  But then he said he would pay half of it.
I will have to travel alone, because my flight was booked later, and I will return one day earlier, because I have to work when they come back. I don't look forward to the long flight, with stops in the USA (where you lose 3 hours because it has to be checked whether they are no bombs hidden in your ass or nostrils). I guess I'll try to shorten these investigations by only taking hand-luggage with me... But anyway, it's only a week, it's a bit decadent, but I'm going to GUATEMALA and see my sister again !!!  | |
