Who is your best friend and why?

I don't really have a 'best friend'... But I have a few people i'm quite close to.

We are like sisters. I feel like I have known her forever. We go through our bad times together and celebrate our good times together. Even her husband is like a brother to me, her kids call me auntie. She is one of the few that I trust with my son. We build one another (and folks around us) up spiritually...

Even when we can be total biotches!

Wow, that's a hard question to answer. My best friend's an Orger and I've known him for 23 years now. He's been the most consistent thing in my life, he's loyal, brilliant, and he'd kill for me and I for him. We're twins souls, soulmates and friendship couldn't even begin to describe what we are. We're like boys but I'm his girl. He's saved my ass many a time.

You know that is actually way too difficult for me to decipher! I can't decide- i have about let'z see...about 5 friendz (excluding my cousinz) of whom i consider myself very close to and absolutely trust!! They're like angelz! I say this because i dont necessarily get to see them as often as i'd like...with clashing and often very busy schedulez- but they're alllwayz alwayz there for me in some form! I can count on em for anything! And vice versa!

I have a few best friends. We don't see each other often because we live quite far from each other, sadly enough, but when we see each other I realize time and time again nothing changes Very comforting.

And my even better friend is living and working in Africa right now. We send nice emails and in a way we're very close in this way but i miss her.

I don't believe in best friends. They eventually stab you in the back.

Not really.

When I was a lot younger (in my teens), there was my First Best Male friend, my Second Best Male Friend, my First Best Female friend and so on. Then I grew up and realised you're lucky to have the friends you have, regardless of 'rank'.

So there's no-one I'd really call my 'best friend' But a lot of people I'm close to, some more than others perhaps.

I have a group of best friends.

Renee and Patrice have been close with me since we all were in college. They never hesitate to give me the unadulterated truth about myself, my girlfriends, my decisions, my aspirations, etc. And, I always reciprocate.

Tyrone is my ace boon coon. He and I have gone through a lot of similar deals and, again, can trust each other to be real and supportive.

Then there are my cousins, with whom I have very similar, loving relationships. They're all blessings.

I didn't cut linkz with them but i'm not inclined to hang with those girlz as much as I used to say about 5 or 6 yearz ago!

I have maybe two very close friends, and then a few slightly less close friends. I call them all "one of my best friends" but I could never pick one bove the other, becuase they mean different things to me. For instance one I know from school and one I know from work, and so on...

But my best friend is my ex boyfriend. We were together for 3 years but for the last year we were very off and on. What we both took from the breaking up thing was that we couldnt live without each other, and hes still the first person I run to, and Im the first person he will. We know each other better than anyone else does, and theres no hard feelings, we still care for each other. maybe itll change when we meet someone else seriously but I dont know
