Yeah, that's most likely what they actually mean, but it's also possible to steal someone's picture, Nikki! A lot of photographers are worried about this and only put up pictures that are of very low resolution and have some sort of copyright logo and/or "water stamp" on them. But these days people can get around that too by photoshopping out the text and interpolating the picture to high resolution so that it can be used in printed matter as well. In that sense it's really difficult to protect your ownership of a picture on the net. You can only hope that those who steal it won't do so for financial gain. | |
