Umbrellas

Do you have an umbrella or do you bare the bad weather? I usually just grin and bare it as I think umbrellas are a bit of a faff. Also, Im nervous of catching my thumb on the metal lever to break the umbrella down. I do like snuggling up to someone underneath an umbrella though. There's something cosy about it.

Remember those football cap umbrellas? They were funny. Whats your umbrella like?

Pics too if you have them...

I have several umbrellas.

They are all quite cute. And I use them whenever needed, but I'm not a sissy about it. If it's just a sprinkle, I usually don't bother.

And yes, snuggling cosy with someone under an umbrella is quite nice.

REDFEATHERS

I have loads of umbrellas, but I never use them.

I find if I ever take one with me, it stops raining or doesnt rain and its a pain in the ass carrying it around, OR I forget to take one out and then I find its pissing it down and I get drenched.

Actually I dont mind rain falling down on me, it feels good.

Umbrellas are just a nuisance IMO, and are only good if someone is escorting you and carrying it over you.

I have had piggy ones, black, silver, gold, long ones, novelty ones, see through ones, spotty ones, tulip ones.. the whole shebang! biggrin

I have an umbrella, a white and black polka dot umbrella and I'm very proud of it lol Too bad it hasn't rained a lot since I have it. The weather is often grey, but no rain pout

Just one umbrella; a black one.

JD, do you ever feel uncomfortable sharing an umbrella with another bloke? That probably seems like an odd question lol but I used to know this straight bloke who would point blank refuse to get under another umbrella with another guy - even if it was pissing down, just in case people would think he was gay!

The same guy had to make sure there was a seat between him and another bloke if they went to the cinema. rolleyes lol

I do. smile

It feels really intimate to share an umbrella with someone since you're walking so very close to each other. Also, the person who is holding the umbrella is basically protecting the other person which really appeals to my instincts when I'm holding it for a woman, but which makes things totally weird if it's a guy.
