An ex of mine would constantly pick her fingers, sometimes until they bled. Neurotic to the hilt.

falloff

Yeah I had a cold a couple of weeks ago, and my lip split right down the middle (why does that always happen when you get a cold?!) I bit it for days after!

You should get vitamin E oil from the health food shop, its vitamin E that helps us heal and its just really concentrated, so u put a wee bit on scabs n split lips etc!

Oh thanks for that, I will remember it in future

its kinda funny, cos when I was a kid and I fell over and got a scab on my knee, I would pick at it

My Mum told me not to pick it, cos Jesus was healing it - and picking it would spoil his work

so leave it alone and it will heal quicker

sorry, I am babbling now - I cant remember the point I was making if ever I was making a point at all.. wink

Well, in the interest of full disclosure, I have a bad habit of fiddling with this small cluster of thick stubble on the right side of my face. My razor never totally gets it all, no matter how close I try to shave!

i've got a horrible wound on the side of my face, just below
my sideburn on the left side.

i cut myself shaving while on wintersports but didn't really
notice it until i had spent a day on skis, in very dry air,
and too much sun.

so the wound kind of dried up too quickly and got burnt. now
it's bigger than the hole in a cd and doesn't seem to heal.

what can i do about this without having to go see my doctor,
who's mentally unstable imo lol

Can you put your finger in it?

see a doctor!

you might need antibiotics.

nod Listen to Dr. Llee...that hole sounds horrible! In the meantime, I would cover it with antibiotic ointment and a gauze or bandaid
