Ha Ha - Shut Up!

People who laugh after everything they say.

Is this a nervous thing?

Or are they just jolly old souls?

I'm sitting in the office with two guys behind me - both Managers; says it all, really - who cannot finish a sentence, whatever it may be about, without breaking out in a chuckle.

Examples:

"Are you going to the photocopier? Whooohooohoooohoooohoooo"

"I saw a great programme last night. Yeeeheeeheeeeheeehawhawhawhaw".

"You're sacked. Bwahahahaaahhaaaheeheeheehohoho".

(Okay, I made that last one up. boxed Well, all three really).

But, they actually do this! I find it quite annoying. Is everything that funny? Or am I missing something?

Oh I sooo know what you mean! Its so annoying! theres a guy in my class who wouldnt, or rather couldnt, say boo to a goose, and he does that! He doesnt so much laugh after everything he says, but all the way throughout the sentece too. I have no idea where people learn to do this. It must be a nervous thing though, a habit. an annoying habit! lol

Gigglers are the worst. I think, however, that it's just a form of social awkwardness, nothing more or less. So it doesn't overly offend me.

You could've added that to my 'Stupid Expressions' thread!

It is polite to listen as others talk. Only when there is a pause is it cool to introject your own voice. However those that make noises are trying to monopolize the pauses so that they can continue talking. They only needed a moment to think and so they just make noise so that there is no chance for you to introduce another thought. It's a controling issue.
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.
You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

I laugh like anything. Usually it's cause i just thought of something retardedly funny or cause i'm a bit hypo in people's company so it kinda comes out that way! And then i make say for example my boss at work laugh cause of my laughing- and that makes it even worse neutral falloff

For the most part i'm easily amused. nod

Though i did it as a kid too, and i remember when i felt shy i'd giggle too. So it can sometimes come from that emotion too! nod
No hablo espanol,no! no no no!
Pero hablo ingles..ssii muy muy bien... nod
