HELP! Bugs are getting into my plants! My lillies need help. They are being systematically eaten by these brownish inchwormy things. They are also going after my fuscia and Daisies (luckily are in wintering). I have insecticidal soap which takes care of em...but I come back later and theres another one!
Also inside one of my plants has this issue too. It was fine until one day (a day too late) I noticed that practically all the leaves were messed up and she shed a bunch (I think went into shock). I have treated that plant too. But just yesterday I found another inchwormy thing (this one is green) on it. How do I get rid of these pests and where the hell are they coming from? Any help in this matter would be great. Christian Zombie Vampires

i dunno, man. i just set my two plants in the windowsill, water 'em once a week, and ignore them. they're hearty little buggers. my strawberry begonia's getting a little wilty here and there, but it's still awfully lush. i'd freak out if they got bugs. outside they would go.

For non-edible plants I think poison is okay, just spray them outside. But I've used an organic oil-based (I think) pesticide for veggies that suffocates the bugs rather than poisons them--nice!
It smells kind of like peppermint, and you need to re-apply pretty often, but it seems to work with ants & aphids. Check this song out at:

Natural sprays made from cayenne pepper have done the trick for me. The Normal Whores Club

I've been reading more on this issue. Apparently that are only annual...but could devastate your plants. Apparently I am doing the correct thing by being diligent. There seems to be some soil dust I can perhaps get too. Christian Zombie Vampires
