I don't know about embarrassing, but I use hand sanitizers a lot.....people raise the brows whenever it gets to be excessive. I try to be aware of what I'm doing around people I don't know though.

my heart pounds whenever I'm nervous.....and my voice trembles terribly. I have to give an informative speech Wednesday for my public speaking class. I'm so nervous. shake My topic's on social anxiety falloff seriously. Hey, 1 out of every 8 Americans suffer from it, so at least I'll be directly adressing certain students lol

I do too.....not from nervousness though. I hate the feeling of long nails. I'm terrified if I grow my nails long that I'll accidently split them down to the skin. Plus, you can't do anything with long nails. smile I do think longer nails look nicer on hands though.

i'm sure you will do fine. the more you practice, the more confident you will become and yeah you may be a bit nervous, but if you know exactly what you are talking about, then no one can take that away from you...you get my drift? hug

I once gave a 45 minute tutorial to my class. I thought I was going to shrivel up and die, but I had done all my research and knew my topic inside out, and by the end even the lecturer was asking me questions about stuff she never knew before!

i'm a leg wiggler. always have to have that foot tapping - can't sit still.

but they say this is good for you... it means a fast metabolism, and helps you stay thin.

i don't even realize i'm doing this until people point it out to me.

comfort no you won't! biggrin

The tutorial was good because it became an interactive discussion, I sat with the class around me, no standing at a podium. People were interested in the topic, it was relevant to our studies. Got a high distinction too woot! and that from someone so shy they thought I had selective mutism as a child! eek

I am a leg wiggler too, and a nailbiter. But my most embarrassing habit is that sometimes when I am listening to music I click with my teeth to the beat, on the 2 and the 4. You should see people's faces when they notice, hehe! Sooo damn embarrassing...

I can't carry a conversation with anyone, especially if it's small talk with a stranger. There's usually awakward moments of silence, and they assume I'm just being rude, when really my mind when blank.
