I made a short film once in which a guy spills a cup of tea all over the keyboard. We simply picked one up from a dumpster and cleaned it up so that it looked like it actually belonged to the computer and screen he was using. When people saw him spill the tea their jaws dropped to the floor and there was a collective sigh of "oh no!" It's quite surprising sometimes what makes people react strongly.

Only just the other day, my housemate Simon brought his girlfriends' golden labrador round. The dog jumped up at me and sent me flying. I managed to knock over a coffee table and my glass of water in the process!

I go through stages. If it happens to me once, it will happen two or three times within a few minutes.

I never seem to drop or spill one thing - it happens over again until people ask me what the hell's wrong with me
