Why don't you like the costume? That mo' fo' is HOT. I can't wait to see this film. The trailer gave me chills. Hearing the "Krypton" theme playing behind Marlon Brando... woot!

Why do people keep getting excited about these big films and their trailers? The same thing happened with the last Stars Wars movie and King Kong and in both cases people were let down. Don't be fooled by the hype.

Where should I begin???

• It's looks nothing like the comics for one, stay true to your subject...
• The "S" sheild on his chest is way too small, makes him look wussy and weak
• It's 3-D plastic
• The red is very dark
• The cape looks like leather
• The "S" belt buckle makes it looks like he is trying to market and advertise himself
• The hip-huggin panties, make him look more gay than heroic
• What's that line down his arm?

I don't get it. The costume has looked a bunch of different ways in the comics and the films. Things like the shade of red and the size of the "S" really bother you? Come on! confuse

Why would any body bother to make a Superman film if they had to so rigidly conform to the fan-boys ideas of the material his cape is made of or the presence of an "S" on his belt? I love Superman, but he is, after all, just a freakin' cartoon character.

Plus, your statement that he looks gay was just dumb. Any guy in tights from Robin Hood to Aquaman to Barryshnikov is gonna look gay. Tights are just gay. biggrin

The red is a little too dark for me too. And even though I'm gonna give this new dude a try, I would much rather see Tom Welling. I still can't wait though....

A spectacularly ignorant statement.

Revenge of the Sith statistics:

Rotten Tomatoes Critics Rating: 82% (190 Fresh Reviews)
Average IMDB Rating: 8.0/10 (80,285 votes)
U.S. Gross: $380,262,555 (Biggest domestic hit of 2005)
Worldwide Gross: $848,462,555 (Neck and neck with Harry Potter for #1 worldwide in 2005)

How does that constitute the film letting people down?

oh my GOD, tom welling is such a bad actor. i love 'smallville' and i think he's perfect for the role, since it involves a lot of deer-in-headlights reaction shots (at which he is a natural), but i don't know that he's able to carry through with a full-on superman movie yet.

Star Wars Nerds just went back over and over again. They will support anything Goerge Lucas does. And they went alone of course which makes their dedication more impressive.

I agree with you, PK. The movie didn't let me down. Sure, there were a couple of things I would have done differently, but let me down??? disbelief

as long as superman is better than batman begins, which i thought tried so hard to be gritty and dark that it just ended up being boring.

At least I've got facts that show ROTS as a total and complete success. All you've got are bullshit claims that don't make sense.

Whether you think you deserve it or not is what matters.
