Pulp Fiction. I could not believe what i was watching. And the other people in theatre seemed to react the same way. It was one of the only movies that i had to see again as soon as possible. So i went to the late show as well.

A strange feeling of dark oppression struck me after watching "The TENANT" by Roman Polanski; great, underrated movie. I remember, after having seen it for the first time after a couple of years, I was leaving the flat about midnight, buying some cigarettes, and felt very, very strange...

oh yes it is..but its really slow...really really slow..but the cannibalism and killings are soo realistic it shocks you when it happens..i'd recommend showing it at a party so that you have something to do while waiting for the good scenes.

Only ever been truly freaked out/disturbed by two movies:

'Irreversible' and the Mondo trash flick 'Faces of Death' which I never ever want to see again. Even though many parts of this explotation/shock flick (call it whatever makes ya happy) much has been said about what's real and what is faked. To me, the monkey brain/hammer scene and the electrocution seemed very f*cking real to me - but this was a long time ago now). Whatever, it was cheap and exploitative, and above all else immensely UNenjoyable.
