They're really gone?

Are you sure you didn't just see this?? When I went to check this out this was all I could find (what can I say, I'm bored )..... http://www.upi.com/NewsTr...4943-6038r 'Etiquette telegrams' ending in China HEFEI, China, Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Personal telegrams are becoming a thing of the past in China with the last "etiquette telegram" delivered this week. China Telecom Corporation Limited and China Network Communications Corp. announced they would end what they called "etiquette telegram services," where people send greetings, condolences and other messages along with flowers. The official Xinhua news agency reports the service started in 1988 but with the popularization of technologies like e-mail, the Internet and cellular phones, clientele dwindled. The last etiquette telegram was delivered Wednesday from Hefei, the capital of the Anhui Province. | |
