I was thinking about that for my boy but now he's too old to start. I watched the show yesterday on tv the one from San Diego. the local club here is awesome, they train alot and get together and go to competitions. I heard the stress can be bad but most people I have met who do it remember that for the dog it is just play and as long as you keep that in mind it will be great.

We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color.

shake He's not at all too old, dogs aren't supposed to jump fences until they're a year old, just like running with your dog should wait until that age too. You can start the balancing fences and slalom and that earlier but you can start right now.

I've trained dog agility with Uzie or actually it was my dog sitter Linda who started, Uzie's pretty lazy but the agility brings out the best in her. I think it's a great way to activate your dog, so Mach and Flutterbi, go for it! nod

Pffffft, it's the old "can't teach an old dog to sit" crap. I taught my old boy Ollie to crawl when he was 6, it works. Who says every dog needs to be a champ, it's great to just get to be with the dog and let it exercise body as well as brain nod
