Hmmm, sorry to be a "Debbie Downer"...
and I may check it out at some point... But I tried to watch the movie Serenity when I was in the States, but I walked out after a little while... I just thought the first few minutes was drivel! Maybe I'll give it another chance at some point and my girlfriend had a lot to do with us walking out.... but it just seemed like a made for TV thing... just a lot of macho posturing and trying to be swashbuckling but failing?... Eh.. like a try-hard Star Wars or something mixed with GI Joe... But then I thought "Buffy" was crap too, so there you go! . [Edited 1/30/06 1:35am] [Edited 1/30/06 1:38am] | |

It had me near tears in the theater. I will concede that if you are a fan of the 'Firefly' series then you will get a lot more out of the film, but I think it works even if you've never seen it. But if you think 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' is garbage then maybe Joss Whedon projects just aren't for you and you should stick to Star Wars. grammar edit. [Edited 1/30/06 9:42am] | |
