How do I go about registering a .com domain name? What service is best to use and so forth.....yada yada yada....i want it forever

Try Register.com...I have no idea if it's the "best" for what you want, but it's a start...lol

years ago sold it for over 10 million !!

I hear there's a new stipulation etc
that u cant buy big name domain titles anymore--even if the company didnt buy it already they can sue u for the name.

Regsiter.com and Network Solutions are two of the biggest domain registration companies. There's smaller cheaper ones, but you don't know how long they'll be in business for, they come and go every day.

Wherever you go, they're probabbly gonna try and trick you/pressure you into signing up for hosting with them as well. You'd be better off just buying the domain name, then shop around for a good hosting package seperately.

I used 1&1 to register mine, it came as part of my web package.
