thank you guys so much. i'm just about crying as i read this whole thread, just the simple words "we're thinking of you" makes me feel so loved. i can almost overlook the fact that Phil spelled my orgname wrong. . . . j/k.


well, i'm home now and everything seems to be ok. what a day though! the best part of it all (if there could be a best part) was the echocardiogram. (it's an ultrasound of the heart) i got to see my heart there on the screen, each ventricle and valve. that was amazing! then the radiologist isolated each valve and listened to the sound it made seperately. she measured the blood flow before and after it went through. amazing technology!

the worst part was being scared out of my wits!! before they admitted me i was in the ER and it got so bad i couldn't breathe. i actually thought i might die a couple times. but i didn't. and here i am, posting on the org the very next day. thank god for pain meds!!!


again, thank you guys so much for the love shown me here. i believe this is truly a special place. i've never heard of any other place where people who have never met eachother can really honestly care about the wellbeing of another person, sometimes halfway around the world.

i hope i'm getting better. though i think i'll have to talk to the Dr tomorrow about the painkiller/anti-inflammatory they have me on. i take 800mg ibuprofen when i have a headache for pete's sake!! i need something stronger for this.
